110 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 13 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 97 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 131 flights and carried out 29 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 110 Insurgents were killed, 59 were wounded and 3 were detained.  

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Faryab, Badghis, Kandahar, Ghazni, Helmand, Zabul, Wardak, Paktikah, Nangarhar, Balkh, Sir-e Pol, Kunduz and Takhar provinces.

Faryab- 34 insurgents including Mullah Hashim a Taliban local commander were killed and 16 were wounded in airstrikes and clearing operations in Bilcheragh & Pashtun Kot districts.

Badghis- 29 insurgents were killed and 32 were wounded in airstrikes in Ab Kamari district.

Kandahar- 29 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded, 6 fighting positions and 13 rounds of IED were discovered & defused in airstrikes and artillery attacks in Chanar Kali village, Shah Walikut district. 

Ghazni- 11 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in airstrikes & response attacks in Khwaja Omeri district and Rawza, Noghay areas of capital.  

Helmand- 5 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle and 1 motorbike were destroyed in airstrikes in Kajaki and Sangin districts.

Zabul- one insurgent was killed in airstrike in Shah Joy district.

Wardak- one insurgents was killed in airstrike in Chak district.

Paktikah- 3 insurgents were arrested, 1 vehicle, 2 motorbikes, 50 bags of explosives, 30 military uniform, 78 barrels of IED, 40 weapon training books, 2 depots of ammunition, 25 mine traps and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in clearing operation in Yusuf Khel district.
