30 Insurgents Were Killed and Wounded in Different Parts of the Country         

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 7 joint clearance operations and conducted 72 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 104 flights and carried out 6 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 15 Insurgents were killed and 15 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Takhar, Uruzgan, Ghazni, Farah, Badakhshan, Sir-e Pol, Helmand and Kunar provinces.

In these operations, 4 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded, 2 motorbikes were seized and 8 rounds of IEDs were discovered and defused in Baharak district of Takhar province. 4 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in Muqur district Ghazni province. 4 insurgents were killed, another wounded & 2 hideouts were destroyed in Trenkut capital of Uruzgan province.

Similarly, 2 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 2 vehicles, 3 motorbikes and amount of weapon and ammunition were destroyed in Balabulok district of Farah province. An ISIS terrorist was killed in Wata Pur district of Kunar province.
