48 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 13 joint clearance operations and conducted 13 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 175 flights and carried out 20 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 48 Insurgents were killed and 30 were wounded.
These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Faryab, Kandahar, Helmand, Kunduz, Farah, Herat, Paktia, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Paktika, Sir-e Pol, Balkh, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces.
In these operations, 19 insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded in Khwaja Sabz Posh and Gurziwan districts of Faryab province. 10 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in Miyanishin and Shah Walikut districts of Kandahar province.4 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in Nahar Saraj and Marja districts of Helmand province. 3 insurgents were killed and 1 was wounded in Char Dara district of Kunduz province.
Similarly, 3 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in Pushrod district of Farah. 3 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in Pashtun Zarghon and Oba districts of Herat province. 2 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in Dehyak district of Ghazni province. 2 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in Zarmat district of Paktia province
