84 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country          

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 7 joint clearance operations and conducted 77 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 121 flights and carried out 24 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 84 Insurgents were killed and 34 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Helmand, Ghazni, Faryab, Ghor, Balk, Badghis, Herat, Khost, Nangarhar, Zabul, Samangan and Baghalan provinces.

In these operations, 16 insurgents were killed in Hasti village of Muqur district of Ghazni province. 16 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and a fighting position was destroyed in Kajaki, Nad Ali, Nahar Saraj, Grishk districts and capital of Helmand province. 12 insurgents were killed and a vehicle was destroyed in Partala and Ghondi Lewankhel villages, Sabari district of Khost province. 10 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded and a motorbike was destroyed in Almar district of Faryab province.  6 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, a Taliban central command, 1 Prison, 10 motorbikes, 6 fighting positions and hideout of Taliban Shadow governor were destroyed in Sharak district of Ghor Province.   

Similarly, 6 insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded in Shindan district of Herat province. 6 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in Bangala village, Balkh province. 6 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in Bala Murghab district of Badghis province. 2 insurgents were killed in Shinkay district of Zabul province. 2 ISIS terrorists were killed in Nangarhar Province
