42 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country          

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 11 joint clearance operations and conducted 77 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 151 flights and carried out 7 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 42 Insurgents were killed, 10 were wounded and 4 were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Helmand, Farah, Ghazni, Kapisa, Paktia, Logar, Herat, Balkh, Samangan and Kunduz provinces.

 In these operations, 27 insurgents were killed, 1 was wounded and 4 were arrested in Kajaki, Marja, Nahar Saraj, Nad Ali and Sangin districts of Helmand. 8 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province. 3 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, 30 Hand grenades, 1 vehicle and 2 motorbikes were destroyed and amount of weapons and ammunition were seized in capital of Farah province. 4 insurgents were killed and a motorbike was destroyed in Andar district of Ghazni province.
