37 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 10 joint clearance operations and conducted 77 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country.
In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 95 flights and carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 37 Insurgents were killed, 16 were wounded and 4 were detained.
These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Paktia, Helmand, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Logar, Ghazni, Paktikah, Kapisa, Ghor, Balkh, Kunduz and Samangan provinces.
In these operations, 21 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded and Safari, Och-Gharak and Tank-Gharak villages of Ahmad Abad district were cleared from enemy’s presence in Jani Khel and Ahmad Abad district of Paktia province. 6 insurgents were killed, 4 were detained, a vehicle and 1 motorbike were destroyed in Musa Qala, Sangin and Nahar Saraj district of Helmand province. 3 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in Khakrez district of Kandahar province.
Similarly, in these operations 2 insurgents were killed in Posht Rod district of Farah province. 2 insurgents were killed and 3 wounded in Oba district of Herat province. 2 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in capital of Logar Province. An insurgent was killed in Andar district of Ghazni province.
