Based on the guidance and direction of the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense, a cooperative agreement in the field of children’s treatment was signed between the General Staff Health Command and two charities, “COFO” and “KBU,” operate under the slogans “Children need us” and “Children are our future”; this agreement was signed by Dr. Mohammad Tahir “Ahrar,” the General Staff health commander.

The purpose of this cooperation is to assist children suffering from various diseases, including deformities, orthopedic issues, heart defects, burns, and conditions related to the eyes, ears, nose, throat, neurosurgery, urology, and other general surgeries. These conditions are treated at Shahid Mohammad Dawood Khan Complex Specialized Hospital, under the supervision of both domestic and foreign specialists, with significant discounts.

It is important to note that in the past, children with these conditions were sent abroad for treatment by these institutions, which was extremely costly. However, with the signing of this new accord, their specialized care will now take place domestically at the well-equipped Shahid Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan Complex hospital.
