25 Taliban Terrorists Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country!

Kabul, Afghanistan: In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Army launched 9 joint clearance operations and conducted 84 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 57 sorties and carried out 3 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support mentioned operations. As a result, 25 terrorists were killed and 21 were wounded.
These operations were conducted in Helmand, Farah, Logar, Ghazni, Zabul, Kunar, Nangarhar, Paktika, Badghis, Balkh and Baghalan provinces.
Helmand: Kajaki district, 8 terrorist Taliban were killed & 3 wounded in a clearance operation conducted by 2nd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 215th Maiwand corps.
Farah: Jan Gaj-Gaheen and Baghak villages, Posht Rod district, 6 terrorist Taliban were killed, 9 wounded, & great amount of weapons & amos destroyed in a clearance operations & artillery attacks conducted by 2nd battalion, 207th Zafar corps.
Logar: Charkh district, 6 terrorist Taliban were killed & 4 wounded in clearance operation conducted by 8th special Special Ops Battalion, 8th Commands.
Ghazni: Andar & Muqur districts, 4 terrorist Taliban were killed, 4 wounded weapons & vehicles destroyed in a clearance operation supported by an airstrikes conducted by 3rd Battalion, 2nd brigade, 203rd Thunder corps.
Zabul: Shah Joy district, a terrorist Talib was killed another wounded in a response attack conducted by 2nd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 205 Atal corps.
Note: It is with great sadness that during these operations we have lost 4 Afghan National Army heroes who fought with bravery and courage. We shall also mention that few other ANA soldiers sustained minor injuries. May the soul of martyrs rest in peace and we wish speedy recovery for those who have been injured. All the bodies of our martyred & our injured soldiers have been transported to Kabul to be handed to their respected families.
