17 Taliban including their prominent commanders were killed in the Washer district of Helmand!

Afghan National Defense and Security Forces under their active defense posture, conducted preemptive operations with support from the Afghan Air Forces targets Taliban insurgents and inflicted heavy casualties to Taliban in villages of Gurazan and Malghzar, Washer district of Helmand province, which as a result, 17 Taliban were killed and 7 others were wounded.

They were planning to attacks ANDSF positions when they were targeted by Afghan Air Forces. 13 Taliban including Mullah Mansoor and Mahwan Mutaqi, two of their prominent commanders were killed and 5 other Taliban insurgents including one of their (IED) Mine planter were wounded during the airstrikes carried out by Afghan Air Forces.

Additionally, 4 vehicles, 2 SPG9 Guns, and a large number of Taliban weapons were destroyed in the vicinity of Gurazan village.

Similarly, 4 Taliban including two of their local commanders were killed, moreover, one vehicle was destroyed during the airstrikes carried out by Afghan Air Forces.
