27 Taliban were killed and wounded in Helmand province!

Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, acting based on their active defense posture, conducted preemptive operations with support from Afghan Air Forces and repelled Taliban attacks in Nawa and Nad-Ali districts of Helmand province, yesterday.

16 Taliban were killed and 11 others were wounded as a result of preemptive operations of ANDSF.

Additionally, 9 IEDs which were placed by the Taliban on public roads were discovered and defused during reciprocal operation of the Afghan National Army.
