ANDSF cleared off Mahmai district of Badakhshan from Taliban presence! 

Afghan National Defense and Security Forces based on their active defense posture, conducted a preemptive operation in response to the Taliban movements and cleared off Mahmai district of Badakhshan from Taliban presence today. 

Taliban have suffered heavy casualties and a large amount of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed and seized during the reciprocal operations of ANDSF.

Meanwhile, a large number of fresh forces have been deployed to the district and they will not allow the Taliban to harm the people.
