54 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 16 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 21 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 15 provinces of the country, as a result, 54 Insurgents were killed and 29 were wounded.  

Uruzgan- 18 insurgents were killed and 10 others wounded in clearing operation conducted by ANDSF and airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Chora, Khas-Uruzgan districts and Khanaqa area of the province capital.

Nangarhar- 12 insurgents were killed in ANDSF clearing operation in Mohmand Dara district.

Kunar- 10 insurgents were killed and 3 others wounded in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Trang, Sokay and Noor Gul districts. 

Helmand- 7 insurgents were killed and 8 others wounded, moreover 1 vehicle, 2 motorbikes, 1 cache of weapons & ammunition, 7 hideouts were destroyed, & 45 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Special Operation conducted by Commando Forces with the support of Air Forces in Sangin, Musa Qala, Nahar Saraj, Nawa and Lashkargah districts.  

Kandahar- 5 insurgents were killed and 4 others wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Khakrez & Maiwand districts.

Ghazni- 2 insurgents were killed and 4 others wounded during ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in vicinities of the province capital.
