39 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 18 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 19 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 16 provinces of the country, as a result, 39 Insurgents including 4 ISIS-K fighters were killed, 20 were wounded and 3 others were detained.

Herat- 7 insurgents were killed and 3 others wounded in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces and ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy offensives in Kishak Kohana, Shindand & Zahwal districts.  

Faryab- 6 insurgents were killed and 6 others wounded during ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Qaysar and Gurziwan districts.

Laghman- 6 insurgents were killed and 5 others wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack and airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in the “Manjan” area of the Alishing district.

Farah- 5 insurgents were killed, 20 kg explosives were seized and 7 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Joint Clearing Operation conducted by ANDSF in Balabulok district.

Helmand- 4 insurgents were killed, 2 wounded, 1 detained, moreover the huge amount of weapons & ammunition was seized, 6 hideouts were destroyed, & 25 rounds of anti-vehicle mines were discovered & defused in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces & ANDSF Joint Special Operation in Sangin, Nawzad, Washir & Nahar Saraj districts.  

Kunar- 4 ISIS-K insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Sokay district. 

Parwan-Kabul- 3 insurgents were killed and another with a Kalashnikov rifle was arrested in Joint Special Operation with the support of Afghan Air Forces in the border area of Bagram and Qarabagh districts.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed and another wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Maiwand district.

Uruzgan- one insurgent was killed and 2 others wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in Deh Rahwod district.

Sir-e Pol- one insurgent was killed and another wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in Sang Charak district.

Zabul- one insurgent was arrested in Special Operation conducted by Commando Forces in Shah Joy district.
