26 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 13 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 5 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, as a result, 26 Insurgents were killed, 11 wounded and 9 were detained.

Takhar- 10 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Baharak district.

Nangarhar- 6 insurgents were killed and 4 others wounded in in clearing operation conducted by ANDSF in Shirzad & Mohmand Dara districts.

Balkh- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 wounded, 5 detained, 1 vehicle packed with explosives were discovered & defused and a huge amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in ANDSF clearing operation and retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in Nahar Shahi, Chamtal and Charbulak districts.

Herat- 3 insurgents were killed and 2 others wounded in ANDSF artillery attacks in Zahwal district.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed and another wounded, moreover 1 cache of ammunition was destroyed in ANDSF artillery attacks on enemy hideout in Khakrez and Maiwand districts.

Khost- 2 insurgents were killed and 4 others detained in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Alishir and Sabri districts.
