52 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 12 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 19 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, as a result, 52 Insurgents were killed, 21 were wounded and 8 including 4 suspects were detained.

Helmand- 11 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 1 was suspect arrested and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Nahar Saraj, Washir & Musa Qala districts.

Kunar- 10 insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Sokay district.

Balkh- 9 insurgents were killed and 14 were wounded in ANDSF artillery attack and airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Charbulak and Shortepa districts.

Farah- 6 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 1 suspect was arrested and 1 vehicle was destroyed in ANDSF Joint Special Operation and airstrikes carried by AAF in Balabulok district and province capital.

Herat- 5 insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Zahwal district.

Badghis- 3 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Muqur district.

Wardak- 3 insurgents were killed and 2 vehicles were destroyed in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Daimirdad district.

Zabul- 3 insurgents were killed in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Arghandab district.

Jowzjan- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Khanaqa and Faizabad districts. 

Logar- 6 insurgents including 2 suspects were detained in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces in Baraki Barak & Mohammad Agha districts.
