16 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 14 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 9 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, as a result, 16 Insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded.

Helmand- 7 insurgents were killed and 5 other were wounded in airstrikes carried by Air Forces and ANDSF response attacks in Khanashin and Garmsir districts.

Faryab- 5 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in clearing operation conducted by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces in Afghania village of the Almar district. 

Herat- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 motorbike and 1 depot of explosives were destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Chishti Sharif district.

Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle packed with explosives was destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Khakrez district.
