117 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 22 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 32 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 18 provinces of the country, as a result, 117 Insurgents were killed, 17 were wounded and 20 including 7 suspects were detained.  

Ghazni- 39 insurgents were killed and other 7 were arrested, 3 vehicles and 27 motorbikes were destroyed in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces with support of Air Forces in Dehyak, Giro, Ab-Band and Muqur districts.

Helmand- 13 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle and 1 depot of explosive was destroyed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Sangin and Garmsir districts.

Kandahar- 12 insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Shorabak Shah Walikut districts. 

Herat- 10 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Pashtun Zarghoun & Oba districts. 

Baghalan- 10 insurgents were killed and another was wounded in an airstrike in Dahana Ghori district.

Kunduz- 9 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded, 7 suspects were arrested, 6 motorbikes were destroyed, 1 computer, 3 mobile phone, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized, 18 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces with support of Air Forces in Char Dara district and province capital.

Zabul- 9 insurgents were killed, 6 were detained, 5 mobile phone, some advertising documents were confiscated, 2 motorbikes and 12 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in ANA response attacks & airstrikes carried by Air Forces in Shah Joy and Shinkay districts.

Ghor- 9 insurgents were killed and 4 fighting positions were destroyed in an airstrike carried by Air Forces in Sharak district.

Balkh- 3 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces in Bangala area of the Balkh district.

Jowzjan- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in an airstrike carried by Ai Forces in Mangajak district.

Kunar- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike carried by Ai Forces in Murcha Khel area, Sokay district.
