42 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 14 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 10 provinces of the country, as a result, 42 Insurgents were killed, 15 were wounded and 8 including 6 suspects were detained.

Zabul- 14 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle and 8 motorbikes were destroyed in an airstrikes in Jirbazargan area, Shah Joy district.

Uruzgan- 9 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in Commando Forces clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Sur-Murghab village, province capital.

Kunar- 5 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, amount of weapons & ammunition and 1 hide were destroyed in clearing operation in Dangam district. 

Ghazni- 4 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in ANDSF clearing operation in Dehyak district.

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 4 including 2 suspects were arrested, 3 hideouts were destroyed and 6 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Washir and Nahar Saraj districts.

Faryab- 3 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in Commando Forces clearing operation in Bilcheragh district.   

Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 1 motorbike was destroyed in an airstrike in Chamtal district.

Wardak- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 motorbike and amount of weapons & munitions were destroyed in an airstrike in Syed Abad district.

Kunduz- 4 suspects were arrested, 2 motorbikes, amount of weapons & munitions and 15 military uniforms were confiscated and 12 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Commando Forces operation with support of Air Forces in Char Dara district.
