65 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 13 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 8 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 10 provinces of the country, as a result, 65 Insurgents were killed, 43 were wounded and 11suspects were detained.

Zabul- 15 insurgents were killed, 21 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation in Arghandab & Shah Joy district.

Nangarhar- 13 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Shirzad district.

Paktia- 10 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in an airstrike in Zarmat district.

Takhar- 7 insurgents were killed and 12 were wounded in response attacks in Khwaja Baha Uddin district.

Parwan- 5 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Jabil-Saraj district. 

Ghazni- 5 insurgents were killed in clearing operation in Ghazni highways.

Badghis- 4 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in province capital.

Balkh- 3 insurgents were killed in an airstrikes and response attacks in Balkh & Chamtal districts.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Sangin district.

Paktikah- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Mata Khan District.

Kunduz- 5 suspects were arrested, 1 vehicle, 14 military uniforms, 1miltary boots,  6 motorbikes, amount of weapons & munitions and computer (laptop) were confiscated in Commando Forces clearing operation in Char Dara district.

Wardak- 4 suspects were detained, 50 kg narcotics drugs and 6 motorbikes were seized in Commando Forces clearing operation in Nirkh district.

Uruzgan- 2 suspects were arrested, amount of weapons & ammunition, 2 military uniforms, 1 vehicle, 1 motorbike, 7 mobile (phone) and 11 sim cards were seized in Commando Forces clearing operation in province capital.
