22 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 22 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 3 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 17 provinces of the country, as a result, 22 Insurgents were killed, 11were wounded and another was detained.

Badghis- 11 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in airstrikes in Bala Murghab district.

Wardak- 4 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded in response attacks in Nirkh district.

Herat- 3 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in Joint Special Operation and response attacks in Ghoryain district and outskirt of the city.

Kandahar- 3 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded, amount of weapons & ammunition, 2 motorbikes and 1 Pakistani Identity card were seized in response attacks in Khakrez district.

Helmand- one insurgent was killed and 3 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in an airstrike in Sangin district.

Uruzgan- one insurgent was arrested with a weapon in Commando Forces clearing operation in Guizab district.
