85 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 15 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 7 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 9 provinces of the country, as a result, 85 Insurgents were killed, 19 were wounded and 10 were detained.

Badghis- 23 insurgents were killed and 7 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrike in vicinities of province capital.

Zabul- 22 insurgents were killed and 100 barrels of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation and airstrikes in outskirts of the province capital.

Ghazni- 17 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 2 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Giro, Ab-Band and Muqur districts.

Helmand- 13 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded, 4 round of IED were discovered & defused and 5 hideouts were destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Sangin & Marja districts.

Uruzgan- 8 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in joint special operation & response attacks in Chora and Khas-Uruzgan districts.

Farah- one insurgent was killed and 2 were wounded in response attack in Anar Dara district.

Wardak- one insurgent was killed and another was wounded in response attack in vicinities of province capital.

Nimruz- 5 insurgents were arrested in joint special operation in Ghoryain district.

Logar- 4 insurgents were detained and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in joint special operation in Baraki Barak district.
