127 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 22 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 87 Commandos special operations and Air Forces carried out 18 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, as a result, 127 Insurgents were killed, 25 were wounded and another was detained.

Badakhshan- 30 insurgents including Qari Barkat, Taliban shadow district governor for Baharak district and Mawlavi Daud, Taliban shadow district governor for Shuhada district were killed, 2 Taliban local commanders were wounded, 1 arrested and 3 fighting positions were destroyed in airstrikes in Wurduj district.

Zabul- 20 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Shinkay, Atghar and Shah Joy districts.

Sir-e Pol- 20 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Qashiqari village, province capital.

Wardak- 17 insurgents were killed, 12 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Nirkh and Sayed Abad districts.

Paktikah- 13 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in response attacks in Mata Khan District.

Faryab- 13 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Qaramqol district.

Ghazni- 9 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Qarabagh, Andar districts and province capital.

Laghman- 5 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in artillery attacks in Alingar district. 

Uruzgan- 3 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in response attacks in Chora district. 

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Garmsir district.
