267 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 16 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 91 Commandos special operations and Air Forces carried out 49 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, These operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, As a result, 267 Insurgents including Taliban shadow governor for Badakhshan province and 5 local commanders were killed, 93 were wounded and 9 were detained.

Farah- 112 insurgents including Mullah Anwar and Mullah Obaidullah Taliban local commanders were killed, 58 including a local commander were wounded in airstrikes & clearing operation in vicinities of the province capital.

Badakhshan- 67 insurgents including Qari Fasaiuddin Taliban shadow governor for Badakhshan province and 3 Taliban local commanders were killed and 8 were wounded in airstrikes and Commando Forces clearing operation in Wurduj & Baharak districts.

Herat- 20 insurgents were killed in an airstrike & Commando Forces operation in Shindan district.

Kunduz- 18 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Dasht Archi, Khan Abad districts and province capital.

Uruzgan- 18 insurgents including 15 foreign terrorists affiliated to Al-Qaida network were killed, 2 were wounded, 1 detained, 3 hideous were destroyed and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in airstrikes & joint special operation in Shaid Ihsas and Khas-Uruzgan districts. 

Ghazni- 9 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded, 1 vehicle, 2 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Qarabagh district.

Balkh- 7 insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded in airstrikes and Commando Forces clearing operation in Charbulak district.

Zabul- 6 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Shah Joy district.

Paktikah- 5 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in response attacks in Khoshawand district.

Helmand- 4 insurgents were killed, 8 suspects were arrested, 4 hideouts and 11 fighting positions were destroyed in an airstrike and clearing operation in Nad Ali, Grishk and Nawa districts.

Kandahar- one insurgent was killed and 2 were wounded in response attacks in Arghandab district.
