Gen. Asadullah Khalid acting Ministry of National Defense visits Laghman Province!

General Asadullah Khalid acting Ministry of National Defense visited Laghman province today to assess the security situation and expressed his condolence and sympathy with family of martyr Abdul Halim Laghmani who was martyred in clash with Pakistani military forces in Torkham and commended his heroism against the Pakistani forces.

Acting Minister of Defense in his speech said that” Afghan National Defense & Security Forces will defend and protect Afghanistan at any cost and no part of Afghanistan will fall to enemies.

Gen. Asadullah Khalid stated that the ANDSF has reduced the intensity of the war in order to achieve peace & stability, respect for the sake of the peace process and they are now in a state of active defense.

Meanwhile Rahmatullah Yarmal Laghman Governor praised the efforts of Gen. Asadullah Khalid for providing better security.
