19th August, 103rd Independence Day anniversary was held in a special ceremony at the Ministry of Defense
On the occasion of 19th August, the 103rd Independence Day of Afghanistan anniversary was celebrated in a special ceremony with the attendance of the Acting Ministry of Defense, Deputies Minister, chiefs; Directors, Scholars, Employees, and some Mujahidin at the Ministry of Defense headquarter.
Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob "Mujahid", Acting Minister of Defense, called the country's independence from the British it’s an important Islamic and historical event and said: the Afghanistan Mujahid people fought to protect this heritage, against the great colonialists of the world, and they proudly celebrating this Independence Day today.
The acting Defense Minister followed his speech and he stated that: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's enemies trying to create division between the nation and the government by launching various ethnic, linguistic, and religious conspiracies but we should all be alert and maintain our national unity.
Following the speeches of each one, the Deputies Defense minister and Chief of Staff of the Army, Chiefs, Directors, and visiting guests, while congratulating and expressing during their statements, emphasized the unity and integrity of the people against the conspirators and asked them to take responsible for preserving the independence and freedom of the country.
In the end, the Acting Minister of Defense visited the Independence Minaret and laid a wreath on the Minaret during the special ceremonies held by Banduo Battalion personnel.
Simultaneously, the Ministry of Defense Air Forces helicopters flew in the Kabul city sky to celebrate the country's Independence Day and showed its strength and capacity.
103rd Independence Day anniversary was celebrated while there is no more instances of occupation in the country and this country is now under a single leadership and without any foreign interference.
