38 insurgents were killed in different parts of the country      

Kabul, Afghanistan:  In the past 24 hours, , Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched two clearing operation and carried out 14 Special Forces tasks in different parts of the country in order to remove security threats and ensure security. Afghan Air Forces also conducted 147 flights supporting Afghan National Army and carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ positions. As a result, 38 insurgents were killed and 19 others wounded.

These operations were conducted by the Afghan National Army Forces and with the support of Air forces in Khost, Kandahar, Farah, Herat, Balkh and Helmand provinces.

In these operations, 22 insurgents were killed and one other was wounded in Greshk, Nahre-Saraj, Sangen and Musa Qala districts of Helmand. 7 insurgents were killed, 15 were wounded and a motorbike was  seized in Khakriz and Ghorak districts of Kandahar.

Similarly, 5 insurgents were killed and 6 others were wounded in Balablok district of Farah. 4 insurgents were killed and 7 others were wounded in Pashton Zarghon district of Herat.

Afghan National Army as the nation’s defense forces, are ready to give sacrifice to bring lasting peace and security to the people and are determined to eradicate terror groups in Afghanistan.
