The plan of the Ministry of National Defense for establishing the National Council of Military Women has been approved by the presidency and International Institutions!

Ministry of National Defense at the "First National Conference on Military Women, Peace and Security" on December 5, 2019, in the presence of the President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and First Lady, ambassadors and representatives of international organizations who supported the security organs, government officials and a thousand military women, they offered (The plan of the National Council of Military Women and the World Council of Military Women) and it is, fortunately, has been approved and endorsed by the Presidency office, the First lady's office, and international institutions.

Following the three-days meeting, on Tuesday (31 December 2019), the Statute and Procedure of the National Council of Military Women were discussed and evaluated in participations of the 20 military women from the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Interior Affairs, National Directorate Security, and representatives of the First Lady's Office, National Security Council, Ministry Women Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Resolute Support (NATO) and embassies.

It's mentionable that on (8 March 2020), members of the leadership of the Afghan National Council of Military Women's, formally will sharing its plan with NATO, and till the end of the 2020 year, they will sign an Adoptive Sisterhood agreement with multi-country military women who are at their Defense Ministries leadership level and Afghan Military Women, until the end of the year, to exchange their experiences in fight against terrorists with military women in other countries.
