131 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 12 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 74 Commandos special operations and Afghan Air Forces carried out 30 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country.

As a result, 131 Insurgents including 2 ISIS fighters and 2 Taliban red unit commanders were killed, 50 were wounded and another was detained.

Paktia-Paktikah – 37 insurgents including Taliban red unit deputy commander were killed, 1 detained, 5 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in clearing operation in Sharan & Zarmat highway.

Kandahar- 21 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and 10 rounds of IED were discovered & defused in artillery attacks and response attacks in Shah Walikut & Nish districts.

Helmand- 21 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 8 fighting positions, 2 motorbikes, amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Nahar Saraj district and province capital.

Ghazni- 13 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded 4 rounds of IED were discovered & defused in response attacks in Gelan, Dehyak districts and capital.

Badakhshan- 12 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in airstrikes in Karan-WA Manjan district.

Zabul- 17 insurgents including Omran, a Taliban red unit commander were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in airstrikes and response attacks in Shah Joy district.

Badghis- 7 insurgents were killed and 13 were wounded in clearing operation in Muqur & Quds districts.

Uruzgan- 5 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in airstrikes in Char chino district.

Balkh- 3 insurgents were killed and 9 were wounded in clearing operation in Charbulak, Zahrakh, Chamtal &Nahar Shaheyi districts.

Faryab- 3 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded in response attacks in Gurziwan district.

Nangarhar- 2 ISIS insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Pachir WA gam district.
