87 Insurgents Were Killed!    

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 11 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 83 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 186 flights and carried out 32 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 87 Insurgents were killed, 28 were wounded and 2 were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Ghazni, Faryab, Helmand, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Zabul, Takhar, Paktika, Laghman, Kandahar, Farah, Ghor, Balkh and Nimruz provinces.

Ghazni– 31 insurgents were killed, 2 detained, 2 vehicles and 10 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Qarabagh, Andar, Ab-Band, Khawaja Omari, Zan-e Khawan and Giro districts.

Faryab- 21 insurgents were killed, 19 were wounded and 3 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Bilcheragh & Pashtun kot districts.

Helmand- 9 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Nahar Saraj and Washir districts.  

Nangarhar- 7 insurgents were killed, 2 vehicles and 5 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Shirzad district.

Kapisa- 6 insurgents were killed and amount of weapon & ammunition were seized in ANA Commandos Forces (SOC) clearing operation in Kapisa district.

Zabul- 6 insurgents were killed and 26 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in response attacks in Shah Joy district.  

Takhar- 5 insurgents were killed and 7 other were wounded in response attacks in Chah-Ab district.

Paktika- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in airstrikes in Mata Khan district.
