78 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 9 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 96 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 135 flights and carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 78 Insurgents were killed, 41 were wounded and 12 including 1 suspect were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Ghazni, Kunduz, Badghis, Parwan, Farah, Ghor, Khost, Zabul, Kandahar, Faryab, Balkh and Sir-e Pol provinces.

Ghazni- 27 insurgents were killed, 23 were wounded, 1 Dshk & 5 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes & response attacks in Ab-Bank, Khogyani & Dehyak.

Kunduz- 14 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded, 1 suspect detained and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in clearing operations in Imam Sahib District.

Badghis- 10 insurgents were killed and 16 were wounded in airstrike and response attacks in Bala Murghab district.

Parwan- 10 insurgents were killed and 12 were arrested in joint clearing operation in Siyagard district.

Farah- 4 insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrike in Balabulok district.

Uruzgan- 4 insurgents were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrikes in Deh Rahwod district.

Ghor- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in vicinities of capital.

Khost- one insurgent was killed, 2 were wounded and 1 Dshk was seized in response attacks in Musa Khel district.
