78 Insurgents Were Killed!    

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 10 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 87 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 116 flights and carried out 33 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 78 Insurgents were killed and 35 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Faryab, Badghis, Kunduz, Ghazni, Logar, Helmand, Nangarhar, Paktikah, Zabul Sir-e Pol and Ghor provinces.

Kandahar- 32 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Karez and Panj-e Pai villages, Shorabak district. 

Uruzgan- 16 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Yak-Lana village, Trenkut district.

Faryab- 16 insurgents were killed and 16 were wounded in clearing operation, airstrikes & artillery attacks in Gurizwan, Dawlat Abad and Andkhoy districts.

Badghis- 6 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in airstrikes in Kanda Sokhata & Zhalagak-e Kandab villages, Ab-kamari district.

Kunduz- 4 insurgents were killed and 6 were wounded in airstrikes in Imam Sahib District.

Ghazni- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 repeater and 1 vehicle packed with explosives were destroyed in airstrikes in Giro district. 

Logar- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in Baraki Barak district.
