52 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 10 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 88 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 119 flights and carried out 19 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 52 Insurgents were killed, 32 were wounded and 14 other including 8 suspects were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Balkh, Logar, Badghis, Faryab, Helmand, Nangarhar, Khost, Sir-e Pol, Kunduz, Kandahar and Zabul provinces.

Ghazni- 19 insurgents were killed, 12 were wounded, 8 suspects’ detained and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in clearing operation, airstrike & response attacks in Giro, Andar, Waghaz districts and Number one highway.

Uruzgan- 13 insurgents were killed and 15 were wounded in clearing operation & airstrike in Deh Rahwod district.

Balkh- 7 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Chamtal district.

Logar- 5 insurgents were killed and 5 were arrested in joint clearing operation in Ab-Chakaan area, capital.

Badghis- 4 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Ab-kamari district.

Faryab- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Qaysar and Ghormach districts.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and another was detained in clearing operation in Marja district.
