41 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 11 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 89 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 101 flights and carried out 37 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 41 Insurgents were killed and 16 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Farah, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Kunduz-Baghalan highway, Helmand, Nangarhar, Zabul, Kandahar, Faryab and Sir-e Pol provinces.

Farah- 19 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in ANA Commandos (SOC) clearing operation & response attacks in outskirts of the city.

Ghazni- 10 insurgents including a Taliban local commander were killed and 9 were wounded in clearing operation, airstrike & response attacks in Dehyak, Ab-Band districts and Number one highway.

Uruzgan- 8 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Khas-e Uruzgan district.

Kunduz-Baghalan highway- 4 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in clearing operation & airstrikes in highway.

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Marja district.
