79 Insurgents Were Killed!
Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 11 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 98 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan,Afghan Air Forces conducted 172 flights and carried out 20 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 79 Insurgents were killed, 57 were wounded and 2 were detained.
These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Khost, Kunduz, Kandahar, Faryab, Ghor, Parwan, Takhar, Badghis, Ghazni, Helmand, Nangarhar, Zabul, Balkh and Sir-e Pol provinces.
Khost- 21 insurgents were killed and 18 were wounded in response attacks in Jani Khel and Musa Khel districts.
Kunduz- 21 insurgents were killed, 11 were wounded, 1 motorbike and 6 fighting positions were destroyed in joint clearing operation conducted with support of Afghan Air Forces in Imam Sahib District.
Kandahar- 10 Taliban insurgents were killed and 15 were wounded in artillery attacks in Miyanishin and Khakrez districts.
Faryab- 9 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in airstrike & response attacks in Ghormach and Pashtun Kot districts.
Ghor- 6 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 2 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in ANA Commandos (SOC) clearing operation in Taywara district.
Parwan- 4 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in airstrike in Siyagard district.
Takhar- 3 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in airstrike in Namak-Ab district.
Badghis- 3 insurgents were killed and 2 were detained in response attacks in vicinities of Badghis capital.
Ghazni- 2 insurgents were killed in response attacks in Qarabagh district.
Helmand- one insurgent was killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrike in Kajaki district.
