45 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 12 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 104 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 172 flights and carried out 32 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 45 Insurgents were killed and 17 were wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Ghazni, Faryab, Kunduz, Balkh, Wardak, Nangarhar, Farah, Paktikah, Helmand, Logar, Paktia, Sir-e Pol, Herat and Baghalan provinces.

Ghazni- 10 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded and a vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Qarabagh, Andar districts and capital.

Faryab- 9 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and 12 motorbikes were destroyed in response attacks in Bilcheragh district.

Kunduz- 8 insurgents were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrikes in Imam Sahib District.

Balkh- 6 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Balkh district.

Wardak- 4 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Nirkh district.

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Nahar Saraj district.

Nangarhar- 2 ISIS insurgents were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrike in Khogyani district.

Farah- 2 insurgents were killed in artillery attacks in outskirts of Farah capital.

Paktikah- one insurgent was killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in artillery attacks in Mata Khan District.
