42 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 10 joint clearance operations and conducted 81 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 89 flights and carried out 22 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 42 Insurgents were killed and 2 were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Helmand, Zabul, Ghazni, Logar, Badakhshan, Paktia, Kandahar, Ghor, Balkh, Sir-e Pol, Kapisa and Kunar provinces.

In these operations, 15 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle and 2 hideouts were destroyed in Musa Qala, Sangin and Marja districts of Helmand province. 15 insurgents were killed, 2 were detained, 1 vehicle was destroyed, 8 mobile phone, 5 sim cards and some advertising documents were seized from enemies in Shinkay and Mizan district of Zabul province. 8 insurgents were killed, 2 vehicles and a motorbike were destroyed in Chuni, Rustam and Noorkali villages, Andar district of Ghazni province.  

Similarly, 3 insurgents were killed in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province. an insurgent was killed in Fayzabad district of Badakhshan province. the ANDSF clearing operations were successfully continues in other mentioned provinces, the details and achievements these operations will be shared with honorable people of Afghanistan soon.
