Statement of Ministry of National Defense regarding an AAF helicopter crash in Nangarhar province!

Last night around 12:00 a.m., an Afghan Air Forces helicopter crashed while taking off in Hesarak district of Nangarhar province, due to technical issues.

Unfortunately, a flight crew and one Afghan National Police member were martyred and 2 others were wounded as a result of the incident.

The Ministry of National Defense leadership extends condolences to families of the martyred and prays that the martyred are placed in heaven.
