32 Insurgents Were Killed!
Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 20 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 22 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 15 provinces of the country, as a result, 32 Insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and 3 were detained.
Ghazni- 13 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 1 cache of weapons & ammunition was destroyed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Dehyak district.
Balkh- 5 insurgents were killed, 1 detained, 1 vehicle, 3 motorbikes, 3 tactical vests and amount of weapons & munitions were seized in ANDSF clearing operation with support of Afghan Air Forces in Balkh district.
Helmand- 4 insurgents were killed, 2 suspects arrested, 1 IED making facility, 1 hideout, 40 Fighting positions, 300 meter ditch were destroyed and 29 rounds of landmines were recovered & defused in Special operation conducted by Commando Forces and an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces in Nad Ali and Nahar Saraj districts.
Uruzgan- 4 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 1 tunnel, 1 fighting position was destroyed, and 18 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation conducted by ANDSF with support of Afghan Air Forces in province capital.
Faryab- 3 insurgents were killed in airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Dawlat Abad district.
Kunduz- 3 insurgents were killed in Joint Special Operation conducted by ANDSF in Hakim Bavay and Naw Abad villages of the province capital.
