42 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul-Afghanistan- In the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 11 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 10 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 9 provinces of the country, as a result, 42 Insurgents were killed, 20 were wounded and 9 others were detained.   

Balkh- 11 insurgents were killed and 4 others wounded, moreover huge amount of weapons & ammunition and 3 motorbike were destroyed in ANDSF Joint Special Operation and airstrikes carried by Afghan Air Forces in Chamtal and Balkh districts. 

Uruzgan- 7 insurgents were killed and 2 others wounded in an airstrike carried by Afghan Air Forces and IED explosion in Chanartu district and province capital. 

Ghazni- 7 insurgents were killed and 2 others wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to enemy attack in vicinities of the province capital. 

Nangarhar- 4 Taliban terrorists red unit members were killed, 5 were wounded and another with a Kalashnikov (Ak-47) was detained in Afghan National Army clearing operation in Shirzad district. 

Jowzjan- 4 insurgents were killed and 3 others wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to terrorists attack in Mangajik district.

Kunduz- 3 insurgents were killed and 2 others wounded in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces in Gur tepa village, province capital.

Helmand- 3 insurgents were killed and 5 others were detained in clearing operation conducted by Commando Forces in Nad Ali district.

Zabul- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 fighting position was destroyed during ANDSF retaliatory attack in response to insurgents attack in Arghandab district.

Baghalan- one insurgent was killed and 2 others wounded in ANDSF retaliatory attack in Kilagai area of the Dushi district.
