51 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 23 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 10 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 17 provinces of the country, as a result, 51 Insurgents were killed and 34were wounded.

Kandahar- 19 insurgents were killed, 14 were wounded, 8 fighting positions were destroyed, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized and 17 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation in Maiwand district.   

Ghazni- 18 insurgents were killed and 12 were wounded in ANA clearing operation in Muqur district, number one highways and province capital.

Helmand- 5 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in an airstrike in Marja district.

Uruzgan- 4 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in Commando Forces clearing operation in Guizab district.

Paktikah- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 were wounded in response attacks in Waza Khwah district.

Badghis- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 fighting positions were destroyed in airstrikes in Bala Murghab district.

Logar- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Charkh district.
