40 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 20 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 5 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, as a result, 40 Insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded and 2 suspects were detained.

Baghalan- 22 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 2 suspects were arrested, Sardar Khel, Ayshan Khel Madah Khel, Gulmar Khel and Sawad Khel villages were cleared from enemy existence, 10 military uniforms were destroyed, 3 rounds of IED were discovered & defused in clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Dahana Ghori and Baghalan-e Markazi districts.

Helmand- 10 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle, 2 motorbikes and 2 fighting positions were destroyed in airstrikes in Nahar Saraj district & Lashkargah city.

Jowzjan- 6 insurgents were killed and 5 were wounded in Commando Special Operation in Darzab district.

Farah- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 fighting positions were airstrikes in Qala-I-Kah district.

Nimruz- 1 depot of weapons & munitions, 1 depot of IED making, 1 hideout and 1 vehicle were destroyed in airstrikes in Delaram and Khashrod districts.
