43 Insurgents Were Killed!
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 14 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 16 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, as a result, 43 Insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 37 including 17 suspects were detained.
Nangarhar- 28 insurgents including 2 ISIS fighters were killed and 1 wounded in airstrikes in Pachir WA gam and Khogyani districts.
Herat- 6 insurgents were killed, 17 suspects were arrested and amount of weapons & munitions were seized in Commando Forces clearing operation in Shindan district.
Kunduz- 2 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition were confiscated in Joint Special Operation in Dasht-e Archi district.
Kapisa- one Taliban red unit commander was killed in Commando Forces Special Operation in Alasay district.
Paktia- 2 insurgents were wounded, 2 motorbikes and 2 radios were seized in response attacks in Zarmat district.
Balkh- 12 insurgents were detained in Commando Forces Special Operation in Charbulak district.
Farah- 8 insurgents were arrested and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in Joint Special Operation in Anar Dara district.
Wardak- one vehicle packed with explosives was destroyed in airstrikes in Chak district.
Logar- amount of weapons & munitions was confiscated and a bag of explosives was destroyed in Commando Forces Special Operation in Bad-e Khawab Shahna village, the province capital.
