90 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 12 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 21 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 10 provinces of the country, as a result, 90 Insurgents including Taliban shadow district governor for Namak-Ab district, Taliban court chief for Takhar, Taliban shadow deputy governor for Herat province and a Taliban local commander were killed, 36 were wounded and 1 was detained.

Ghazni- 36 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded, 1 detained, 2 vehicles, 8 motorbikes, 5 balloon filled with explosives were destroyed in Commandos Special Operation & airstrikes in Dehyak, Ab-Band, Qarabagh districts and province capital.

Zabul- 20 insurgents were killed and 16 were wounded in airstrikes and artillery attacks in Shah Joy, Naw Bahar and Mizan districts.

Takhar- 17 insurgents including Taliban shadow district governor for Namak-Ab district and Taliban court chief for Takhar were killed and 9 were wounded in airstrikes in Namak-Ab and Khwaja Ghar districts.

Helmand- 7 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded, 5 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in airstrike and clearing operation in Nawa and Marja districts.

Nangarhar- 6 insurgents were killed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Khogyani district.

Farah- Mawlavi Samad Taliban shadow deputy governor for Herat province and Mullah Daud Mateen a Taliban local commander were killed and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Khak-e Safid district.

Jowzjan- 3 insurgents were killed in joint special operation in Faizabad district.

Parwan- one insurgent was killed in airstrike in Bagram district.
