112 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 9 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 76 Commandos special operations and Afghan Air Forces carried out 30 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 8 provinces of the country.

As a result, 112 Insurgents were killed, 61 were wounded, 9 were detained and 6 of our compatriots were released from Taliban prison.

Balkh- 17 insurgents were killed, 23 were wounded and 9 were detained in Commandos Forces clearing operation in Balkh, Khalam, Kashanda & Charbulak districts.

Badakhshan- 17 insurgents including Fataiullah a Tajikistan citizen were killed and 1 wounded in clearing operation & airstrikes in Jurm and Baharak districts.

Nangarhar- 12 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Surkh Rod district.

Kunar- 11 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in an airstrike in Chapa Dara district.

Ghazni- 6 of our compatriots were released from Taliban prison as a result of Commandos special operation in Giro district.

Uruzgan- 6 insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Shaid Ihsas district.

Faryab- Mullah Rasoul Khenjar Taliban group leader with their 4 men’s were killed and 7 were wounded in ANA clearing operation in Qarghahan district. 

Helmand- 2 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded, 2 hideouts, 1 depot, 1 vehicle, 4 motorbikes were destroyed, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized and 24 rounds of IED were discovered & defused in clearing operation in Grishk district.

Zabul- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 wounded in response attacks in Mizan district.

Nimruz- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Khashrod district.
