Funeral ceremony of Lieutenant General Dr. Suhaila Sediq was held with the presence of President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Gen. Mohammad Yasin Zia and senior Ministry of National Defense officials at the Sardar Daud Khan Hospital. 
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Gen. Mohammad Yasin Zia, praised Lt Gen. Sediq and conveyed condolences to her family.
