First Deputy of Ministry of National Defense visits the Farah Province!

Today, Gen. Mohammad Yasin Zia, First Deputy of Ministry of National Defense along with Mohammad Massoud Andarabi acting Ministry of Interior Affairs, Zia Saraj acting of the National Directorate Security and Gen. Austin Scott Miller commander of (NATO) Resolute Support Mission for Afghanistan, visited Farah province to assessing security situation in this province.

In this visiting, the First Deputy Minister of National Defense met with the governor and senior security officials and issued the instructions for a better security situation.

Meanwhile, Mr. Zia visited the security checkpoints in Farah province and praised the Defense and Security Forces heroes for their recent achievements.

Recently, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched large operation, by the name of Bakhtour Operation, to suppress the Taliban terrorists in this province, as a result of this operation, Taliban terrorists suffered heavy casualties.
