Acting Ministry of Defense visits Farah Province

Assadullah Khalid acting Ministry of National Defense along with General Austin Scott Miller, commander of NATO Forces for Afghanistan, Massoud Andarabi, acting Ministry of Interior Affairs and Ahmad Zia Saraj, head of the National Security Directorate, today morning visited the Farah province for assessment of security situations and meanwhile met with the governor and Defense and Security Forces leadership in the province and then he traveled to Anar Dara district.

Acting Defense Minister, after assessing reports on the implementations and plans of the leadership of the defense and security forces in this province, he issued the necessary guidance to improve the security situations in this province as soon as possible.

In the meantime, he praised the performing of Defense & Security Forces in the clearing of the Anar Dara district from Taliban terrorists’ presence.
