92 Insurgents Were Killed!    

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 14 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 83 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 186 flights and carried out 26 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 92 Insurgents were killed, 56 were wounded and 10 were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Laghman, Ghazni, Paktia, Zabul, Kandahar, Farah, Ghor, Badghis, Faryab, Balkh, Helmand, Paktika and Takhar provinces.

Faryab- 31 insurgents were killed and 20 were wounded in airstrikes in Bilcheragh district.

Helmand- 17 insurgents were killed, 1 detained, 3 motorbikes were destroyed and 13 different rounds of IED were discovered and defused in airstrikes in Grishk & Nahar Saraj districts.  

Ghazni– 17 insurgents were killed, 15 were wounded, 2 detained, 1 vehicles and 9 motorbikes were destroyed in response attacks with support of Afghan Air Forces in number 1 highway, Zan-e Khan & Giro districts.

Takhar- 8 insurgents were killed, 14 were wounded & 3 vehicles were destroyed in airstrikes in Ishkamish & Khwaja Ghar districts.

Kunduz-Baghalan- 5 insurgents were killed, 3 suspects arrested, 2 Kalashnikov’s (Ak-47) and 2 radios were seized in joint clearing operation in Kunduz-Baghalan highway.

Zabul- 6 insurgents were killed and 26 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in response attacks in Shah Joy district. 

Uruzgan- 3 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes in Trenkut district.
