73 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 8 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 88 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 118 flights and carried out 7 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 73 Insurgents were killed, 23 were wounded and another was detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Zabul, Ghazni, Khost, Kandahar, Wardak, Badghis, Laghman, Faryab, Uruzgan, Sir-e Pol and Kunduz provinces.

Zabul- 20 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Trang and Jaldak districts.

Ghazni- 18 insurgents were killed and 6 motorbikes were destroyed in artillery attacks & clearing operation in vicinities of capital. 

Khost- 12 insurgents were killed, 10 were wounded, 1 was detained and 4 motorbikes were destroyed in response attacks in Mandozai district. 

Kandahar- 8 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Maiwand district.

Wardak- 5 insurgents were killed, 6 were wounded and 1 RPG was seized in response attacks in Chak district.

Badghis- 4 insurgents were killed in airstrike in Jawand district.

Laghman- 3 insurgents were killed, 4 were wounded and a weapon was confiscated in response attacks in Alishing district.

Faryab- 2 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrike in Qaysar district.

Uruzgan- one insurgent was killed in airstrike in Deh Rahwod district.
