66 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 11 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 93 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 142 flights and carried out 15 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 66 Insurgents were killed, 14 were wounded and another suspect was detained.  

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Badakhshan, Faryab, Helmand, Badghis, Uruzgan, Nangarhar, Ghazni, Zabul, Balkh, Paktikah, Takhar, Kunduz and Sir-e Pol provinces.

Badakhshan- 32 insurgents were killed and 15 were wounded in airstrikes in Yamgan & Kuran W Munjan districts.   

Faryab- 8 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in airstrikes in Pashtun Kot district.

Helmand- 8 insurgents were killed and 1 motorbike was destroyed in airstrikes & response attack in Marja and Grishk districts.

Badghis- 7 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in airstrikes in Bala Murghab district.

Uruzgan- 6 insurgents were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrikes in Khas-e Uruzgan district.

Nangarhar- 6 insurgents were killed and 1 hideout was destroyed in airstrikes in Khogyani district.

Ghazni – 5 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in response attacks in Number one highway.

Balkh- 4 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in airstrike in Charbulak district.

Paktikah- 3 insurgents were wounded and 1 suspect was arrested in response attack in Waza Khwa district.
